Overview:
Sometimes in order to resolve problems related to loading or formatting issues when visiting websites it is necessary to clear cookies and the cache of your browser. Instructions for clearing cookies and the cache in Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are below.
Microsoft Edge
- Open Microsoft Edge. At the top of the screen near the right-hand side, click on the triple dot Settings icon and select Settings.
- Under Settings on the left-hand side, click on the Privacy, search, and services tab and look for Clear browsing data on the right. Underneath that heading, click on Choose what to clear.
- Click on the dropdown box under Time range and select All time. Check the boxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files. Click Clear now.
NOTE: You can also choose to check other boxes of items you want deleted.
Google Chrome
- Open Google Chrome. Click the triple dot Settings icon in the upper right-hand corner.
- Select History and then History again in the newly opened menu.
- Click Clear browsing data near the upper left-hand side of the screen.
- Click on the dropdown box next to Time range and select All time. Put a check mark next to Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files. Click Clear data.
NOTE: You can also choose to check other boxes of items you want deleted.
Mozilla Firefox
- Open Firefox. Click on the triple line Settings icon in the upper right-hand corner.
- Click on History.
- Click on Clear recent history…
- Click on the dropdown box next to Time range to clear: and select Everything. Click on the Cookies and Cache checkboxes. Click OK.
NOTE: You can also choose to check other boxes of items you want deleted.
