Radford University Virtual Lab (MAC)

Follow these directions to gain access to Radford University’s Virtual Lab which has the following programs: SAS, SAS Enterprise, SPSS, JMP, Maple, R, ArcGIS.

Google is the recommended browser.

This approach should be used when off campus as these software programs are available in all computer labs across campus. Contact 540-831-7500 for additional assistance or stop by the Technology Assistance Center in Walker Hall 153

 

1. Go to  https://virtuallab.radford.edu and login with your Radford credentials

    

 

2. Change the Protocol to Blast and click Desktop

    

    

 

3. Wait to be connected to Radford's Virtual Lab, a Windows based virtual desktop screen.

4. Click the Start Button to see available software (SAS, SAS Enterprise, SPSS, JMP, Maple, R, ArcGIS)

    

 

Important Local Drive and Printer Information:

· Devices such as a USB drive, or external disk drive will be viewable.

· Save to your local drive, network H: drive, or any USB attached to your device.

· The C: drive is not your C: drive.

· Printing will be available to any local printer connected.
