Overview:
Creating documents as well as navigating websites/programs can be made easier by using keyboard shortcuts. Below are some of the most widely used keyboard shortcuts. For these commands, you will need to hold down the Control button on your keyboard (often labelled as CTRL) and press the corresponding letter for the command as indicated below.

Bold |
CTRL + B |
Makes any new or existing text (as long as text is highlighted) bold. |
Italicize |
CTRL + I |
Makes any new or existing text (as long as text is highlighted) italicized. |
Underline |
CTRL + U |
Makes any new or existing text (as long as text is highlighted) underlined. |
Copy |
CTRL + C |
Copies highlighted text.

Cut |
CTRL + X |
Copies AND removes highlighted text.

Paste |
CTRL + V |
Adds in the most recent copied or cut text.

Undo |
CTRL + Z |
Used to undo the most recent action (can be used over and over again). |
Redo |
CTRL + Y |
Used to redo the most recent action (can be used over and over again). |
Find |
CTRL + F |
Finds text typed into the prompted search bar.

Select All |
CTRL + A |
Highlights all text in a document or on a screen.

NOTE: There are many more keyboard shortcuts out there depending on the system, program, or browser in use.
