Radford University iPads are managed by JAMF allowing apps to be deployed over the air.
Multiple self-explanatory setup screens will be presented when setting up the iPad.
Creation or use of a preexisting Apple ID:
· An Apple ID must be used for an iPad
· An Apple ID must be an email address
· A Radford University email address is encouraged when setting up an iPad
· Be cautious if using a personal email address on a university owned iPad as personal photos and apps may be available on the university device
A Passcode is different than a Password. A Passcode is used when waking up or turning on an iPad and is not the same thing as your University email Password. The Passcode should be unique to your iPad, must be at least 8-characters long and contain numbers and letters.

3. Type at least an 8-character alphanumeric code
4. Re-enter the passcode

6. Change Description to Radford (optional)
7. Tap Sign In
8. Tap Work or school account
9. Type username and password

1. Open App Store
2. Tap your account upper right of screen
3. Tap Purchased
4. Tap the cloud icon to download all previously connected apps you wish to have on new iPad

The
Self-Service app includes Radford University licensed apps including Cisco AnyConnect (VPN) and Crestron AirMedia for wireless screen sharing.
