OWA: Exporting Contacts - Office 365 Web Client (RUC Faculty, Staff, Students)


Overview:

This document outlines the process of exporting contacts from your Outlook Address Book in the Web Client of Outlook. 

NOTE: Contacts that are stored on Carilion Clinic Office web client can be exported and imported back into the Radford University email client.

1. Once you are logged into your email, click on the white square on the top left as shown.

2. Select “All apps”.

 

3. Select “People”.

NOTE: If you wish to export all contacts at one time, skip to step 5.

4.  Select one or more contacts that you wish to export by clicking on the check mark beside the contact’s name.  Once the circle turns blue, your selection has been made.

5. To export all contacts at one time, click the white circle next to “Contacts” in the top left. Once the circles turn blue, your selection has been made.

6. After you have selected the contacts you wish to export, click on “Manage” and then “Export contacts”.

7. From the drop down menu, select the option that fits your need.
a. All contacts - if you want to export all contacts at one time.
b. Contacts – only those that you selected.
c. Suggested Contacts – do not choose this option.

 

8. Select “Export”.
