Overview:
This knowledge article provides the steps for Radford University users to Claim/Activate Accounts and enroll in Duo Two-Factor Authentication. An email was sent to the personal email address provided to the university. If you did not receive an email with your username and claim code, please call the Technology Assistance Center at 540-831-7500.
To Claim/Activate your Radford University account:
1. Go to the OneCampus Portal and search for Claim in the Search box.
2. Select the Claim/Activate Your Account tile.
3. Select Next on the Welcome screen.
4. Enter your username and account claim code provided in the email and then select submit.
5. Read the Acceptable Use Policy for University Computers and Information Technology Systems. Check to agree and select Next.
6. Enter and/or confirm your recovery information. Then, select Update.
7. Enter the PIN sent to your mobile phone and personal email. Then, select Validate.
8. Create a password for your account. Then, select Reset Password.
9. Select Complete.
During your first login to Radford University systems, you may be prompted to set up Duo two-factor authentication. Duo uses the Duo Mobile smartphone app or a telephone call to authenticate you when you access Radford systems. If prompted to enroll, follow the instructions provided to setup Duo authentication.
