Overview:
When copying quizzes from an older course to a newer course, the students will get error messages when attempting to start a quiz or test using LockDown Browser. This is a known issue with LockDown Browser and this article will explain how to fix the problem in your course.
You only need to do this one time for your course. If you do this before you schedule any quizzes or tests, the students should not get an error. If you forget and schedule a test/quiz, and the students report an error, once you complete the steps below, it should correct it for the remainder of the course.
1. Click Quizzes. Click LockDown Browser.
2. You will get a message Please Wait while your quiz list is populated. You will then get a window with this message:
3. Close the message by clicking on the X. That will set it correctly for the remainder of tests and quizzes in the course.
NOTE: Occasionally, you may see an Error/Fix This messages by certain tests. If you do, click the Fix This link, and it should fix the problem for that particular test or quiz.
