Connecting to VPN - Windows


Overview:
This article gives instructions for logging in to Radford University's VPN with devices using DUO 2-factor registration.  

1. Open the Cisco AnyConnect application from your system tray on the taskbar.

     NOTE: If needed, see Installing Cisco AnyConnect on Personal Machines article.

2. Select the Hidden Icons arrow on the system tray in your taskbar.

3. Select the AnyConnect icon from the group of icons shown.

4. Radford owned computers, verify webvpn.radford.edu is showing, personal computers, type webvpn.radford.edu in the field and select Connect.

Type webvpn.radford.edu and select Connect.

5. Enter Username, Password and select Login.

6. Read the Radford VPN connection policy and select Accept.

 

A connection to the Radford University VPN using Cisco's AnyConnect Client will be established. It may take a few minutes before the connection is complete.

To disconnect:

1. Select the Hidden Icons arrow and select the AnyConnect icon. (A lock will show when connected to the VPN).

2. Select Disconnect.
