Overview:
The Edge browser, included in Windows 10, allows a user to make notes and markups directly on the webpage. The marked-up page can then be saved and distributed as desired.
NOTE: This feature is not available for Windows 11 but may be in the future.
Click the Make a Web Note button on the upper right of the address bar.
Click the drawing tool to use. Click it again to choose different colors and widths.
To save the marked-up page, click the Save button. Web Notes can be saved to the Favorites folder, to the Reading List or to OneNote.
After the marked-up webpage has been saved, it can be opened from the Favorites button on the right of the address bar. Click the option you used to save the Web Note (OneNote, Favorites or Reading List), and reopen it on your screen.
To share or distribute the Web Note, it needs to be saved as a picture. Afterwards, it is to be sent by email or shared as a shared document using a cloud storage, such as OneDrive.
