Overview:
Conditional Release can be used for many purposes in a course. Examples for using this feature include: releasing content to a specific section, determining if a specific topic has been visited, releasing content to a specific group of students, ensuring assignments have been completed in a certain order, specific quiz score mastery has been met, etc. The following article provides instructions on where to find the conditional release settings and how to set conditional releases in a D2L course.
NOTE: The example below demonstrates how to conditionally release content to a group of students. *Groups will need to be made for this to work. When creating conditional releases on an Announcements item, you will notice Additional Release Conditions at the bottom of the page for creating Announcements. For Assignments and Quizzes, Release Conditions are found on the right-hand side under Availability of Dates & Conditions.
