D2L: Restoring the View of Content (Faculty/Staff/Students)

 

Overview:
Sometimes users may unknowingly hide or close the viewing of content or announcements for a D2L course by collapsing the widget they are in. This article demonstrates how to restore a widget that has been collapsed and hidden from view.

 

In the image below, the course has an Announcements, Content Browser and Calendar widget that have all been collapsed. The view of each item can be restored by simply clicking the dropdown arrow and select Expand this widget.      

After clicking Expand this widget, the widget will become fully visible as shown fully visible below. If you want to collapse a widget, you can select the dropdown arrow and select Collapse this widget.
