Course Aliases (Faculty/Staff)


Overview:
This article describes the format of course email aliases and how they are updated.

Course aliases are created so that faculty can easily email their classes. Whenever a student adds or drops a class, the course alias is automatically updated.

NOTE: Course aliases are only functional within Outlook. They do not work when sending email through D2L.

The format for course aliases is: "Ru-CourseNumber-SectionNumber-Semester@radford.edu." where "Semester" is either: fall, winter, spring, sum1, sum2, sum3, May or Aug
    (Note: Entries are not case-sensitive.)
