Overview:
Banner is the Ellucian Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system used to manage Radford University's business processes and services.
Self Service Banner access is granted to students when they are admitted to the University. Students use SSB to register for classes and check their grades. Employees are given SSB accounts when Human Resources creates the employee record. Employees use SSB to enter and track their timesheet records. Upon request and approval, certain staff and administrators with departmental budget and purchasing responsibilities may also be granted access to the Finance module of SSB.
Banner Administrative Pages access is restricted to departmental users who require it to perform their job role/responsibilities. If a supervisor determines that a user needs access to Self Service Banner Finance and/or Banner Administrative Pages, the following steps are required:
