Locating the MAC Address of Your Gaming and Streaming Device KB0010358
Overview:
Listed below are the steps to find the MAC address of various gaming devices.
Fire TV Stick
1. Connect Power
2. Connect HDMI to Display Device
3. Select your preferred language
4. Scroll right and select the last option named MAC Addressto obtain MAC Address
5. Write down the address
Example: 14:56:76:B4:EG:ES
Nintendo Switch
1. From the Home screen
2. Enter "System Settings"
3. Go to "Internet"
4. The System MAC address will be found under "Connection Status"
Nintendo DS/3DS
1. Insert a Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection compatible game and access the WFC Setup Utility. Note: The exact steps to access the setup utility varies by game.
2. Tap "Options"
3. Tap "System Information"
4. The MAC Address and Nintendo WFC ID will be listed on the screen
PlayStation 2
1. Connect a required Network Adapter to the PS2 and insert the disc that came with the Network Adaptor
2. Power up the PlayStation 2 and load the Network Adaptor Startup Disc
3. Once it has loaded, select "ISP Setup" and press X to continue
4. Select Agree for the license agreement and press X to continue
5. For connection type, choose "Local Area Network (LAN)" and press X to continue
6. Select "Automatic Configuration" and press X to continue
7. At the connection test screen, select "Advanced" and press X to continue
8. At the "Advanced Broadband Settings" screen, make sure "Automatic" is selected
9. While you are at this screen, make note of the MAC address at the bottom
PlayStation 3
1. Connect a required Network Adapter to the PS3
2. Navigate to the Settings icon (located on the far left) and press X to continue
3. Navigate up/down until you see the System Settings icon and press X to continue press the X button
4. Scroll up/down until you see System Information and press the X button
5. While you are at this screen, make note of the MAC address
PSP
1. Navigate to "System Settings"
2. Navigate to "System Information"
3. While you are at this screen, make note of the MAC address
Xbox
1. Turn on your Xbox console with no game disc in the disc tray
2. From the Xbox Dashboard, choose Xbox Live
3. You should receive the following message: "Could not connect to Xbox Live. Do you want to troubleshoot your network connection?"
4. From the Connect Status screen, select Settings
5. The 12-digit number at the bottom-right corner of the Network Settings screens is the MAC address of your Xbox console

1. Go to the System area of the Xbox Dashboard
2. Select Network Settings
3. Select Edit Settings
4. From Additional Settings, select Advanced Settings
5. At the bottom of this screen you'll see a heading called Wireless MAC Address
